Your Quick Participation is Requested for an Important NJ Skills Gap Survey
Many New Jersey manufacturers are challenged with identifying skilled and trained employees for hire. New Jersey is looking to help manufacturers overcome this challenge often referred to as the “skills gap.”
The New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA) has partnered with the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development to conduct a short survey to gain valuable insight from state manufacturers. NJMEP is requesting that you participate in this survey which should take only a few minutes to complete. All answers will remain confidential.

Impact of Results
The survey results will help:
- Identify skills gaps within your company and industry
- Assess your familiarity with the workforce training/development programs currently available to you
- Explore the skills that you need now and in the future.
The Department and NJBIA will use this information to improve and shape training and educational programs for the manufacturing industry.
Results Expected Soon
NJBIA and the Department will share the survey results later with you this Fall. In the meantime, New Jersey manufacturers are invited to take advantage of other resources available to help their industry find qualified workers – including the free Jobs4Jersey website and the state’s Advanced Manufacturing Talent Network at the NJ Institute of Technology.
Thank you very much for your support and participation.
