The NJMEP Quarterly Resource Dinner
The night was already buzzing with excitement as attendees arrived at Cinders Woodfire Grill for NJMEP’s quarterly Resource Dinner. Attended exclusively by the resources NJMEP utilizes to improve manufacturing on a statewide level, this is an opportunity for networking, catching up on NJMEP news, and staying in touch with the people we work shoulder to shoulder with.
Organized by Rob Stramara, the resource dinner has always been a place of growth and innovation for NJMEP. This tradition was kept as a live-capture polling software was tested for the upcoming State of the State. A lighthearted quiz was given about the history of NJMEP, and responses were displayed live on the projector as they were tabulated; A fun and functional way to measure data.
This particular event was of note, as the newest members of the NJMEP were introduced to the resources they will be working alongside. Representing the newly acquired talent networks of Advanced Manufacturing and Transportation, Logistics, and Distribution (TLD), they each gave a brief presentation about their role in both their own talent networks and within NJMEP. Frank Preta and Michael Marchetti of Advanced Manufacturing along with Constantina Meis and Ray Martinelli of the TLD are eager to join the push for New Jersey manufacturers, and we are happy to have them.
