Senator Pennacchio Visits Rockline Industries, Maker of Private Label Coffee Filters
Cedar Knolls, NJ – Rockline Industries, one of the nations’ largest manufacturers of private label coffee filters, hosted a visit by New Jersey State Senator, Joe Pennacchio. Christopher Bruno, General Manager of the Montville facility, provided a tour to Senator Pennacchio and explained how the facility manufactures the filters. Joe Carotenuto, Director of Workforce Development for the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program, Inc. (NJMEP) was also present on the tour. NJMEP has worked closely with Rockline transforming the company into a lean manufacturing facility.
There are a number of bills currently under review by the State Legislature designed to assist New Jersey manufacturers. Senator Pennacchio wanted to visit the Rockline facility to see first-hand the challenges a manufacturing constituent faces while doing business in New Jersey. Ultimately, he would like to help develop legislative solutions for manufacturers to overcome these challenges and maintain their businesses within the State.
In addition to Senator Pennacchio, NJMEP actively works with other State legislators and Congressional representatives to introduce them to the products and services produced by the myriad of manufacturing companies across New Jersey.
