Registration Open for Made in New Jersey
The New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program has opened registration for its yearly Made in New Jersey event that is held in recognition of the third annual National Manufacturing Day.
The event will occur on Oct. 3 at The Palace at Somerset Park at 33 Davidson Ave., Somerset.
The first part of the event, which will run from 7:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., will have a “Building a 21st Century Manufacturing Economy” theme. This portion of the celebration will include networking opportunities, keynote speakers and panel discussions on topics such as workforce development, recruiting and retention, innovation, growth, supply chain development and logistics. The second part of the event, which will run from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., will feature the Inaugural NJBIZ / NJMEP Manufacturing Awards to honor New Jersey manufacturers in a variety of categories. The deadline for nominating a company is Aug. 8.
