NJMEP Adds Five New Trustees to its Board of Directors, Appoints New Board Chairman and Treasurer
The New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program, Inc. (NJMEP) announces new changes to its Board of Directors. NJMEP is a not-for-profit that enhances the competitiveness of New Jersey’s manufacturers through programs and services that increase profitability, efficiency and productivity.
The following new members have been announced as Board Trustees:
- Mitchell Cahn, CEO of New Jersey Headwear Corporation
- Amy Eskilson, President of Inrad Optics
- Gary Fails: President of City Theatrical
- Patrick Marotta, Executive Vice President of Marotta Controls
- Dieter Weissenrieder, President of Weiss-Aug
NJMEP additionally announces that Peter Connolly, Division Manager of New Jersey Operations for Alion Science and Technology Corporation, has been named as the new Chairman of the Board.
John Baker, President of General A&E, has been announced as Treasurer. Both professionals have previously served as Board Trustees. Outgoing Chairman, Frank Wyckoff, CEO of Grass Roots Marketing, will remain on the Board as Chairman Emeritus.

NJMEP’s services are geared towards helping state manufacturers increase sales, reduce costs, improve efficiencies and spur job creation. The organization is chartered by The National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), a network of nearly 60 MEP centers across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
