NJ Manufacturers Coached on Exporting
95 percent of the world’s customers live outside the U.S., but many manufacturers need assistance with overcoming international obstacles. ExporTech™ is designed to help manufacturers address challenges and strategically enter foreign markets. ExporTech™ is a collaboration between the MEP system, U.S. Export Assistance Centers and other partners including District Export Councils, State Trade Economic and Development, Ex-Im Bank and SBA.
The program has been presented around the nation and kicked off in New Jersey in Saddle Brook on Monday, December 9th. NJ manufacturers attended multiple workshops where they were coached by international exporting and business experts on how to develop a systematic exporting plan. The workshops were very interactive, personalized and covered numerous topics including logistics, partner evaluation, marketing and language barriers, among others.
If you believe your products have international potential, you should consider attending a future ExporTech™ program. The average participant increases sales by nearly $170,000 and generates export sales within three to six months of program completion.
