John W. Kennedy Speaks About NJMEP on Manufacturing Talk Radio
Manufacturing Talk Radio is a weekly live Internet Talk Radio show that broadcasts to manufacturers every Tuesday. Show host, Lew Weiss, and co-host, Tim Grady, present breaking news and tackle business trends and economic forecasts in manufacturing. While broadcasting from the recent CFO Innovation Conference Weiss and Grady interviewed John W. Kennedy, CEO of NJMEP.
John explained to the radio audience that many New Jersey manufacturers are not aware of NJMEP, a partner in the NIST MEP System. The mission of the MEPs is to support small and midsized manufacturers throughout the country by providing services to help them compete in a global marketplace. NJMEP provides no cost workshops, no cost assessments, speciality programs and on-site training to the State’s manufacturers. Grady, Kennedy and Weiss discussed the state of manufacturing both in NJ and nationwide, the value of locating a manufacturing facility in NJ and how many different kinds career opportunies there are in this industry and how to communicate these opportunities to young adults.
