A month has passed since the final rule went into effect for FSMA’s Sanitary Transportation implementation; the first of its kind for carriers, shippers, and supply chain segments in terms of food safety compliance regulations. Now, these companies are required to have effective, validated cleaning procedures in place for their food transport equipment, especially tankers, and refrigerated & freezing capable carriers.
