EarthColor hosts visit and facility tour with Assemblywoman Marlene Caride

EarthColor had an opportunity to host Assemblywoman Marlene Caride and her Chief of Staff Catherine Suarez on Thursday, January 22nd, 2015. They toured EarthColor’s Moonachie facility to learn more about the company’s sustainability efforts and business initiatives. Nicholas Brusco, President of EarthDigital, and David Podmayersky, Chief Sustainability Officer of EarthColor, organized the tour in acknowledgment of EarthColor receiving the New Jersey Manufacturing Sustainability Award in October 2014.
David Podmayersky and Nicholas Brusco shared a presentation with Assemblywoman Caride and Catherine Suarez. The presentation included information about EarthColor’s sustainable brand values, energy and natural resource conservation, material input reduction, technology investments, greenhouse gas management, and airborne emissions reduction. In addition, they reviewed EarthColor’s print capabilities and innovative technologies such as variable digital printing, Scodix SENSE™ textural enhancements, and automated data workflows.
“Their product and success combined with their sustainability practices and environmental focus is truly impressive,” said Assemblywoman Caride. “EarthColor is paving the way for other large manufacturing companies to follow and implement a green initiative in their business values.”
Assemblywoman Caride is a state legislator and attorney at Gonzalez & Caride who has been serving on the General Assembly since 2012. She also sits on several committees:

- Transportation and Independent Authorities
- New Jersey Legislative Select Committee on Investigation
- Intergovernmental Relations Commission
