NJMEP Brings Strategic Supply Chain Tool CONNEX™ to NJ Manufacturers Offering Supply Chain Transparency
Cedar Knolls, New Jersey: NJMEP will be unveiling a new online resource for New Jersey Manufacturers that aims to improve supplier transparency and to lessen the impact of any future supply chain disruptions. This is being accomplished by supplying New Jersey manufacturers with access to the Statewide and National Strategic Supply Chain tool, CONNEX™.
CONNEX™ New Jersey is a powerful research and communications resource that allows manufacturers to operate within and outside of New Jersey in ways never imagined. This new tool will connect all New Jersey Manufacturers, Buyers, and Suppliers into a single, searchable supply-chain solution, allowing participating organizations to optimize and expand their supply chain connectivity, visualize and mitigate risks, and communicate directly with suppliers and buyers—all in one place, quickly and efficiently.
Robert Mazzuca, Staff Engineer at NJMEP and a key proponent for the implementation of CONNEX™ New Jersey explained, “CONNEX™ is going to revolutionize the way manufacturers do business—not only locally here in New Jersey, but domestically and abroad. It’s a one-stop-shop for buyers, suppliers, and manufacturers looking to get ahold of new contracts and expand into previously untapped industries for their business,”. Rob was asked to concisely explain how New Jersey manufacturers stand to benefit from CONNEX, “It’s going to shake up domestic manufacturing as we know it and usher in the next industrial revolution for the US since it will dramatically improve supply chain transparency.”
Luckily, New Jersey Manufacturers can get access to this critical resource at no-cost and get a leg-up on the competition. Access to the more widely encompassing national supply chain database is also available, and for a limited time if businesses register prior to [date], the annual fee of $500 will be covered by NJMEP.
