Congressman LoBiondo Visits Easterseals
On Tuesday, August 3rd, Congressman Frank LoBiondo from New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District toured Easterseals. Easterseals New Jersey has worked to meet the needs of people with disabilities and their families by enriching the lives of people living with disabilities and special needs, and those who care about them, by providing opportunities in their communities.
The organization has a packaging and document imaging facility in New Brunswick, NJ where over 190 adults with disabilities or special needs come to work everyday. Easter Seals clients provide an integral support of supply chain services for the state and local manufacturing and businesses. Easterseals’ purpose is to change the way the world defines and views disabilities by making profound, positive differences in people’s lives.
Operation Outreach
In the summer of 2016, NJMEP launched Operation Outreach. The goal of the initiative is to increase legislator awareness on the importance of manufacturing, STEM, and support industries to our state. A positive relationship with government officials is key to ensuring that we can focus on improving manufacturer success. NJMEP can help you quickly and easily reach out to your government leaders to ignite positive change.
