CFO’s are Educated and Entertained at Innovation Conference
May 12th was a red letter day for CFO’s looking to expand their knowledge. John W. Kennedy, NJMEP’s CEO, helped contribute to their education by participation in one of CFO Studios Innovation Conference panels. The panel, Evolution of Manufacturing: Machine to Machine Technologies, Predictive Anaytics and More covered a broad range of information. Panel sponsor Theorem’s Greg Libertiny led panelists Michael Eldredge John W. Kennedy | Ned Mavrommatis | Rob Weingartz, as they shared their insights, ideas, and experiences about traditional manufacturing and logistics, and explored the opportunities and challenges of M2M.
The CFO Innovation Conference and Awards was a full day event held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford. Over 300 CFOs from New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania participated in insightful expert panels and leadership discussions. They began their day with breakfast, and moved on to a selection from the 17 panels that were offered. Many CFOs were interviewed by Manufacturing Talk Radio, which live streamed the interviews and panels from the event throughout the day. The conference concluded with the CFO Awards Dinner on the 50 yard line.
A rock & roll celebration closed the day…. Southside Johnny and the Asbury Dukes had CFOs on their feet and when Andy Zizas, the event host and publisher of CFO Studio Magazine, took the stage, cheers rang out. Andy, Johnny and the Dukes rocked the house and closed the concert. What a way to end the day.
If you’re a CFO and didn’t make the conference this year, I highly recommend putting it on your calendar for 2016.The big question, how is Andy going to top this one?
