Picatinny Arsenal serves as one of the region’s largest employers and certainly a consumer of goods and services to serve our men and women in uniform. We are honored to have Shahram Dabiri, STEM Technology Manager of the U.S. Army’s Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center at Picatinny to share valuable insights and experiences including:
- The Pentagon’s commitment to the manufacturing sector, its supply chain contractors and vendors
- The initiatives underway to recruit the best and the brightest STEM minds to support our nation
Presenting will be Shahram Dabiri, Technology Manager, STEM Education Program Office.
Shahram Dabiri brings an exclusive and unprecedented experience to the United States Department of Defense STEM Education Program at Picatinny Arsenal. His career has included work on avant-garde approaches for the establishment of partnerships between various organizations to further STEM education, development of rapid contract acquisition vehicles for the procurement of prototypes for the DoD, serving as lead engineer on various large-caliber artillery systems (both foreign and domestic) and on various unique projects designed to reduce both system costs and environmental impacts while improving overall safety and reliability.
