Introduction to NJLEUC (New Jersey Large Energy Users Coalition) and the Benefits of Membership
NJLEUC counsel and several members will describe the group, its past and present activities, and emerging regulatory issues (e.g., the draft Energy Master Plan) of concern to the business community. From its inception in 2002, the New Jersey Large Energy Users Coalition (NJLEUC) has advocated the views of New Jersey’s industrial and large commercial energy consumers on existing and proposed state and federal regulatory policies affecting the supply, transmission, distribution, and pricing of electricity and natural gas.

NJLEUC protects its members’ interests through representation and participation in formal and informal proceedings and forums in New Jersey and, where appropriate, at the federal level, before legislative bodies, governmental agencies, and the courts.
By gathering and disseminating relevant information to the public, legislators, and regulators, and through vigorous advocacy, NJLEUC ensures large energy users a consistent, continuing voice in the regulatory process.
