Hurricane Henri & Ida Business Assistance Grant Program Application Information
Hurricanes Henri and Ida swept through New Jersey causing severe damage to businesses but relief is going to be available. The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) is launching the application for the Henri/Ida Business Assistance Grant Program on September 17th at 9:00am. New Jersey Businesses and nonprofits that experienced physical damage as a result of the hurricanes in New Jersey can apply to receive grants of $1,000 to $5,000. The entire program includes $10.5 million in funds and aims to help as many New Jersey businesses as possible.
Program Requirements
The program is open to small businesses and nonprofits with up to 50 full-time equivalent employees and a physical commercial location in New Jersey. Businesses and nonprofits applying must also have monthly rent or mortgage payments of at least $1,000.

How to Apply
An online application form will be opened up at 9:00am on Friday, September 17th. Apply by visiting the NJEDA’s Program Webpage. All applications are reviews on a first come, first served basis so any business interested in applying should prepare in advance.
If a business has not applied for NJEDA assistance prior to this application, a Username and Password will need to be created. Any individual that has previously applied for any NJEDA COVID-19 relief can use their existing account information.
Anyone planning to apply should go to NJEDA’s Program Webpage prior to September 17th to create their account immediately.
