Celebrating Innovation and Excellence at the ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day 2024
Meet the 2024 Award Winners from ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day. NJMEP celebrated the achievements of New Jersey’s manufacturing industry during the 12th annual event – a day of recognition, learning, and inspiration for New Jersey’s manufacturing leaders.
On October 4th, 2024, the New Jersey manufacturing community gathered for the 12th Annual ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day at The Event Center @iPA in Freehold, NJ. This day-long celebration, hosted by NJMEP, brought together industry leaders, policymakers, educators, and innovators to showcase the incredible impact of manufacturing on the state’s economy and beyond.
National Manufacturing Day has always been a critical event for manufacturers, aimed at raising awareness of the benefits that the industry provides to New Jersey, as well as the advanced technologies shaping the future of production. More than just a day to celebrate past achievements, ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day is an opportunity to inspire the next generation, open doors to career opportunities, and emphasize the importance of manufacturing to the Garden State’s economy.
A Day Packed with Insight and Celebration
Attendees were greeted bright and early with networking opportunities during a hot breakfast, followed by an official welcome from Peter Connolly, CEO of NJMEP. In his opening remarks, Connolly highlighted the state of manufacturing in New Jersey and the revitalization efforts underway, especially in South Jersey.
Throughout the day, award winners were announced and showcased in the annual ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day award ceremony. This prestigious ceremony celebrated the manufacturers whose innovation, resilience, and excellence have made a lasting impact on the state’s economy.

From Production & Operational Best Practices to Sales Strategies for Manufacturers and Automation and Technology Implementation, these sessions provided actionable insights to drive immediate improvements in business operations.
The event also showcased the latest advancements in technology through a Robotics Showcase & Competition, where cutting-edge innovations in robotics were put on display. Attendees were able to witness firsthand how these technologies are poised to revolutionize manufacturing processes.
The event closed with a lunch break for networking and another round of engaging breakout sessions covering topics like Cost Savings Best Practices, Supply Chain Resiliency & Transparency, and Women in Manufacturing.

Looking ahead, NJMEP is already preparing for the 2025 ‘MADE in NJ’ Manufacturing Day, set to take place on October 3rd, 2025. The nominations for next year’s awards will open early in the new year, and all New Jersey manufacturers are encouraged to apply for their chance to be recognized for their contributions to this dynamic industry.
