Robert Mazzuca is a Sr. Engineering Manager with the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP). Responsible for developing Offshore Wind Policy for NJMEP. Support the OEM’s, Primes and sub tier vendors. Execute the supply chain mapping of in-state manufacturers and develop expansion of OSW workforce development and the required training & education.
Support the Defense Industrial Base and develop new Policy with in-state manufacturers. New Jersey is home to more than 9,500 Manufacturers. Lead the Strategic Supply Chain modernization efforts. Identify vulnerabilities and create resiliency within the Supply Chain. New Jersey is a supply chain state, many of our suppliers are critical for America’s economic and national security.
Work with the New Jersey manufacturing base to develop new means and methods through our partnership with The Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Institute (AMMI) at Rowan University. AMMI offers a wide range of new material development, testing, prototyping, 3D printing, cold spray and special fabrication services for manufacturers.
Prior to joining NJMEP, Robert served as Chairman of Economic Development with a Science & Technology Congressional Research Compact created by The Presidents’ Science Advisor/ Director of the White House Office of S&T Policy (OSTP). The organization is a bipartisan collaboration among U.S. Congressional Members (7 Senators & 39 Congressmen).
Robert Mazzuca is an aerospace engineer who has made significant contributions to the field, particularly through his work with RCA Corporation, GE Aerospace, Martin Marietta Missiles & Defense and Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space. During that time, he specialized in High Reliability Manufacturing, Spacecraft Systems Integration, Weapons Systems, Engineering & Development, Special Project Management and Process Improvement (using Six-Sigma Methodologies).
