Micro-Tek Corporation is a custom manufacturer of stranded, braided, and insulated wire and cables, all to very tight tolerances. Their willingness to take on virtually any project, such as aerospace, military, medical, audio, or computer customer requests has set them apart since they began operations in 1965. Micro-Tek manufactures lead/hook-up; medical grade flat, medical grade insulated round, and uninsulated wire as well as micro coaxial and multi-conductor cables in AWGs from 18 to 50. Micro-Tek makes its custom wire and cables from bare copper, silver and nickel plated copper, and copper based alloys. They also work with stainless steel (304 and 316L) and resistance wire; specialty/precious metals are manufactured on toll. A wide variety of DuPont Fluoropolymer resin coatings are also available, including Teflon PTFE (minimum insulation thickness: .0035”) as well as FEP, PFA, and Tefzel ETFE (minimum insulation thickness, each: .002”). Micro-Tek, which can also fulfill your ferrous and non-ferrous flat wire and PTFE washer requirements. is equipped to provide drawing, stranding, tape wrapping, etching, cutting + stripping, and tinning services upon request. Finished wire product tolerances are ±.001” for insulated wire and ±.0002” for flat wire. Micro-Tek custom wire and cables can be manufactured on a contractual, as needed, or just-in-time basis. The expertise found in their specialty production shop enables them to easily complete custom and made to order jobs, as well as more traditional production volumes of virtually any size, all with typical lead times of only three to four weeks. ISO 9001:2008 certified, Micro-Tek manufactures to Mil-Specs 16878/4, 16878/6, 16878/11, and 16878/13, plus NEMA HP3 standards.
