Manufacturing Cares
Manufacturing Cares Mission: It is our mission to provide a framework for New Jersey manufacturing companies to join together and conduct charitable giving efforts; providing a simple way to connect efforts, broaden reach and impact, and further demonstrate the strength of manufacturing companies.
One of the pioneers of NJMEP in our state, the late Tony DeSantis, had a vision of creating a platform for giving back to the community we serve. It began as A Year of Advocacy Program during the NJMEP 20-year celebration and featured charitable efforts of the NJMEP team.
From that effort, the idea for Manufacturing Cares was born. The vision was to provide a framework for all manufacturing companies to embrace and formalize their charitable giving efforts and to highlight the strength of the manufacturing industry.
Manufacturing Cares is a framework under which NJMEP conducts charitable giving efforts and serves as a platform for other manufacturing organizations to tie their efforts into to broaden reach and impact.
